What if, instead of handing in his resignation letter, Gao Tu handed Shen Wenlang the legal documents he had meticulously prepared, pleading him for help? Begging for the one thing that he needed to keep his child alive?
(So this was something that stuck with me from the novel. Gao Tu mentions that he had put together legal papers to protect the child, and I just wanted to flesh out that idea!)

Summary
Sheng Shaoyou and Shen Wenlang wake up on the day it all started. Sheng Shaoyou met Hua Yong who later became the love of his life despite everything. For Shen Wenlang it was the beginning of the end, the slow destruction of his relationship with Gao Tu. Two different men with a second chance to redo past mistakes armed with the knowledge of the future. Sheng Shaoyou "I want my crazy Enigma husband back without all the unnecessary drama. Shen Wenlang "I want my husband back, I promise not to hurt him again in this life. This time Gao Lele will be raised knowing me, I'll be with them from the beginning."
However, can Shen Wenlang do it without causing Gao Tu to be suspicious of his behavior causing him to run away anyway to protect himself. Can Sheng Shaoyou tame his Enigma so that he doesn't go the extreme like he threatened before to cut out his scent gland.Bookmarked by Securus1111
