Summary
Perpetua Lonstein-Barclay is a Witch caught between two realities, one the blue blooded society life of her birthright, nestled within the cracks and ruins of the old world, built and sustained off the breaking backs of workers and peasants.
The other a newly burgeoning way of life, grown from the hearts and minds of those who might have otherwise toiled to no end and dropped anonymously into a shallow workers grave, but now found true agency to mold the world around them like clay in the hands of a child.
Both ripe with corruption from the top, she is powerless to escape the blood and money ties of either world. Or so she thinks.
Fate draws her to a man made sullen and angry by his own position in the grey divide between worlds, his own destiny torn in two much the same, but in directions that at first repel her and then draw her closer. Both are there as a result of their own childish choices of the past. Together they seek a solution, to overcome the contradictions in the dialectic motions that rule their lives.
Can they do it? Or will external pressures prevail?

Summary
Niamh Harrow should have died years ago. Not because, as a mentee of Newt Scamander, she comes in spitting distance of the world's most dangerous creatures. Not because Albus Dumbledore convinced her to teach Care of Magical Creatures at Hogwarts for 5 years where she is sure to be pants at teaching teenagers. No, it's because she literally died once. And because the thing that spared her, brought her back from the shadowy edges of death is of particular interest to Albus Dumbledore, Lord Voldemort, Harry Potter, and therefore Severus Snape.
Niamh wants to keep her head down and survive teaching while keeping up with her creature research as best she can. But Severus Snape won't leave her alone, determined to figure out how much of a liability she is to a certain boy wizard and the security of Hogwarts. Niamh doesn't quite know the answer herself, but perhaps together they'll figure it out before a spy becomes compromised and a naturalist becomes a pawn.

Summary
June 27, 1994 marked the fateful day when Madam Poppy Pomfrey took her final breaths on the edge of the Forbidden Forest, having been attacked by rogue werewolves and left for dead. The entire wizarding world grieves for the beloved matron, including one dour Potions Master who wouldn't have called her a friend, per se, in spite of the fact that's what they certainly were.
Now, Hogwarts needs a new matron, and Dumbledore selects (to Snape's complete dissatisfaction) a Healer so juvenile, she could not possibly possess the experience - the discernment - required for such a role. However, as he will slowly learn, all while falling in love with her, Rebecca Kakudō has an extraordinary gift for healing.
Some might even say she was predestined for it.
