Summary
The scenery of the frozen sunset is eclipsed by a man standing stoically at the edge of the building, gazing skywards.
He looks tired.
Dan Heng hesitates as the man turns and he's met with a crimson scene of murder and the metallic taste of overexertion. He swallows the rising sourness in his throat and forces another step out of his heavy legs, willing himself to wade through the thick gaze of blood. Those same blood red eyes that never waver as he draws closer and closer, finally stopping just feet away from the very person he’s been running from all these years. His heart is about ready to break free from his ribs.

Stiff black hair obscures your vision and you really want to sneeze. Don't. He'll laugh at you. And you don't want him to have that sort of advantage over your ego. Your prideful, damned ego. What is he doing so close anyway? You're subconsciously leaning away with all the uncertainty in the world. You know thousands of ways to attack, to dodge. But not one to stand still in front of him.

It gives you the sort of undivided attention you crave that never seems to dilute.
