Pomni stepped forward, pointing her gun at the rabbit.
Jax grinned, with dilated pupils and an unnaturally wide smile. It was unsettling.
“Fiiiiinally, you sure took your sweet time huh Pompom. Now get your evil on and pull that trigg-”
Pomni flipped the gun towards herself, eyes closing as Jax’s hand twitched forward, his smile starting to fall as he watched.
And she pulled the trigger.

She hasn’t slept a wink.
Pomni doesn’t know how long she’s been lying in this bed- in this room that’s supposed to be hers. She doesn’t know how many times she closed her eyes and attempted to enter a state of mindlessness, only to open them back up to the same colorful shapes skewed about the room and the same red, gloved hand.
But she knows she hasn’t slept.
Nor has she woken up.
And she’s starting to think she won’t.

Summary
It's just an ordinary day in the digital circus- or at least as ordinary as days can get in this hellhole... Pomni's running around with her fellow characters trying to catch bouncy ball shaped creatures called 'Blarks'. It's going about as smooth as it could go, aside from the fact Jax is using the little creatures as throwing balls to pelt her friends.
Though, as a stray Blark thrown by Jax splits Zooble into pieces and another catches Ragatha off guard due to her lack of depth perception- it gets Pomni thinking a little deeper about something she's already been struggling with.
Just how different are these digital body's of theirs compared to their real ones?
