Asada was having a not-so-good day as memories of a failed performance in a practice game filters through his thoughts. He's trying to come up with ways on how to stop being a nervous wreck on the mound for the next time. He stares at their ace and wonders if he ever has gone through the same thing.

Summary
After losing in the semifinals of the Tokyo Metropolitan Spring Tournament (Spring Koshien), Seidou's downfall continued until what happened was inevitable. Leading up to the unprecedented disaster at the start of the Summer Qualifiers. But both Sawamura and Miyuki aren't willing to leave it at that.
This is their tale on how to fix the things that went wrong the first time around. With a lot of soul searching, bro- and romance, introspection, fun, teenagers being teenagers and an exasperated coaching staff, who desperately try to keep the zoo that is Seidou in some semblance of order.
Please enjoy the ride as our kids mature. But above all, enjoy their time spend at Seidou alongside them, so much so that we'd wish it could continue on forever.
side-note: at the beginning there is Furuya-bashing. It serves a purpose but won't continue after Spring/Summer Act I. I have other (good) things planned for him from Autumn onwards.

“What?” Kazuya eyes Kuramochi.
“Who's the lucky gal? Or should I say unlucky,” Kuramochi grimaces as he starts walking again.
“What do you mean?” Kazuya's brows furrow.
“Your missing button," Kuramochi clarifies.
“Hm? Oh, what about it?”
“Who'd you give it to?”
“What does that have to do with anything? Sawamura wanted it for some reason.”
The next stage post graduation for Miyuki Kazuya is full of unexpected ups and downs and twists and turns, all thanks to a certain pitcher that is one Sawamura Eijun. He's strapped in for the ride sure, but can't seem to find the brakes or work the steering wheel right. Though maybe it's because he's not the one driving anymore!

He likes him to the point that he wants him in his future. But Miyuki only pays attention to Furuya, a prodigy. Eijun always tries his best to get Miyuki to look at him or want to catch his pitch, but Miyuki only has time for Furuya. In his first year in Seido. Every single day, he always asked for Miyuki’s attention. The only time Miyuki catches his ball is just because Furuya is on a rest day, or if the Coach asks Miyuki to. Eijun is still happy with the crumb and giving his best at pitching, he never gave up on his dream until one evening, he was sinking so low.
