They're... hidden. They have to be. Even as the nave fills with guests and the music swells from the ornate organ, there's no way Lucifer wants anyone to see how easily his soon-to-be-husband is making his resolve crumble.

Summary
Charlie wanted to do a little something different for the hotel. Something good for once and a New Years party seemed like a perfect idea. And everyone is actually really excited about it, including Lucifer has never celebrated this mortal holiday before. Well, everyone except Alastor. But when he is convinced to go to the party, he makes the most out of it. And maybe he and Lucifer get a little too close and to their surprise things start escalating between them. Which didn't seem like a bad thing, until Lucifer completely stops. Maybe they simply had too much alcohol and it got to their heads.
In the early morning when Alastor comes out of the fog from last night, he means to find out exactly happened. Why Lucifer stopped when they both clearly wanted each other. To say it was surprise is an understatement.

Summary

“Oh, Sire!” Alastor gave a hearty laugh, full of mockery and annoyance as he damn near broke his back to get in his lover’s face. “Just because your shortcomings are much more…obvious, doesn’t mean you can just pretend you’re better than all of us here!”
A low growl fell from Lucifer’s mouth, red bleeding into yellow as winged ears fluttered in aggravation. “You’re pushing it, bellhop.”
That damned nickname was the tipping point for Alastor, his antlers now at least five points over their usual stubs. “Then let me push you, Mon petit diable (My little devil).”

Summary
Every year–around the same time Alastor repeated the same, long, and dreadful cycle of discomfort, pain, and just plain disgust in general, and when these annoying and for some reason– mandatory cycles came around, Alastor never really was fond of the idea of anyone in the hotel seeing him in such a state; red,hot,and sweaty from a first glance.
Alastor often wondered why he had to go through it, why him? It wasn't his fault he took the form of a stupid deer; so why did he have to go through these rut cycles? It was plainly annoying.
Lucifer had recently made his finalizations to moving in the hotel and making his room look his own with the decorative ducks and paintings and pictures of the morningstar family. One morning he went down to get some coffee before he was interrupted by his daughter who asked him the favor–or the more unfavorable task of checking up on the radio demon who seemed to have died and is now rotting in his room like the carcasses he’d eat. Charlie had noticed he hadn't been out and about like usual. And Lucifer hated to admit it but so did he–it was unnerving without the bickering around every corner; for Lucifer and everyone else. and he just couldnt say no to a cute face like Charlies.
