Kamado Tanjirou was a demon.
He was a member of the Twelve Demon Moons, occupying rank one, rumoured to be an ancient demon alive since the Sengoku period.
He was the biggest threat to Demon Slayers apart from Kibutsuji himself.Giyuu Tomioka was a demon slayer. He only had one purpose in life, to kill demons, exterminate as many of them he could. If need be, even Kamado Tanjirou.

Summary
Tanjiro dropped to his knees and bowed until his head touched the ground. "Thank you, Doctor!" he cried. "Thank you so much for helping our family! I swear, as the eldest son, I will work to pay off any medical debts for as long as it takes! Even if it takes my whole life, I'll do it gladly! Thank you!"
To his surprise, the doctor didn't respond, and Tanjiro raised his head. Yoriichi's cheeks were flushed slightly, and he was holding his hands up in an anxious protest. "There is no debt to pay," he insisted in a voice that was as soft as his scent. "You owe me nothing."
A slayer of old is reincarnated. Haunted by memories that he doesn't understand of blood and regret, he vows never to hold a blade and takes up the mantle of a healer instead.

Summary
Demon. Monster. Traitor. Those were all words used to describe Kamado Tanjirou. And that was perfectly understandable. After all, even though he was kind to everyone, a demon trained in the Breath of the Sun who hunted down the Twelve Demon Moons was sure to strike fear into the hearts of demons and slayers alike. Personally, though, he preferred older brother.

And don’t bother trying this with the shrines of other gods- only the Hinokami will protect you from demons.’’
Zenitsu gulps.
Then, Gramps leads him to the small shrine beside the larger one. Softly, he speaks: ‘’This is our Lady Nezuko, the patron goddess of the lonely and abandoned. She must love you very much, if she brought you onto my path.’’
Zenitsu is in awe of her.

Summary
If there is one thing peculiar about Kibutsuji Muzan, it would probably be his fear of fire, Nakime is sure.
She doesn’t understand until one day she sees him stray too close to a fire while in disguise in human company. The fire reaches out as if it has hands, roaring as it wraps around Kibutsuji’s foot. The fire wants to pull him in, wants to drag him into the embers and burn him forevermore as he regenerates, unable to die. Nakime can feel it in her bones. The fire wants him to pay for ripping all those families apart. It is fat with prayers, full of the power of his believers.
It frightens her, this fevor, as Kibutsuji cuts off his own leg and scrambles away from the roaring flames as the humans around him scream at the sight.
Nakime shivers.
Muzan is afraid of fire. There is a reason for that.
Tanjiro is a god and the Demon Slayer Corps prays.
