He doesn’t know how long it lasts—nausea rolls inside him like waves as he watches the man come inside Kaeya before he pulls out, his collaborator taking his place immediately. They keep glancing at him, half-gloating and half-expectant, utterly without mercy, as if at any time the sight will be enough to break him.
He breathes through it all, grinds his raw wrists against the manacles with every exhalation as if in penance. It hurts terribly; it doesn’t hurt nearly as much as Kaeya surely must be hurting. He wishes it hurts more.
Kaeya does not cry out anymore.

Summary
“Checkmate” Crepus says as he takes the obvious opening Kaeya had left for him.
Kaeya smiles. “ Guess you beat me again master Crepus.”
Crepus hums in response, giving himself a little breathing room before confronting Kaeya.
“I know you’re letting me win.”

Summary
Diluc runs into Kaeya, delirious and severely injured by a rifthound in the woods of Wolvendom. Kaeya is in a pretty bad way and Diluc is unable to help much because of the corrupting nature of the injury. He’s going to have to wait and watch until the corrosion has run its course to tend to Kaeya or else neither of them will be strong enough to survive a night in the forest. But for Kaeya that might be too late.
