Zhongli wasted no time to catch his breath as he tackled Childe into the deeper parts of the lake.The two became submerged as they wrestled around in the depths.
Childe, as the mortal that he was, couldn't handle being submerged in water for so long and started loosing air. So, he couldn't think of any other distraction than to pull the other man by the hair and into a searing kiss.
Zhonglis eyes widen with shock, but he quickly understood and brought both of them onto the small land with the table.
Childe heaves and coughs as he lays slightly onto the rough ground.
Zhongli, seeing him like this remembers they're still in a battle and neither has surrendered yet.
To return Childes earlier kiss, he grabs the other by the scruff of their neck. Startling the ginger and kisses him deeply.
