Summary
Everything in Stiles world starts to fall apart a few weeks after Scott gets bitten. Scott leaves Stiles mostly by himself and can ignore him for days. Stiles seeks comfort in a stupid little prayer, his bottles and his pills. He never thought the ones who cared the most about him were the ones he was the most afraid of not even a year ago.
This is a mostly Stiles-centric fic and it's very dark. It touches hard subjects and it follows the downfall of Stiles life and how he got himself back together.
(I put it online a week ago but wasn't satisfied with it so I made a lot of edits and reposting it.)

“Yo,” a gloved hand raises up in greeting. “Iruka sensei.”
“Kakashi sensei,” Iruka replies in turn, squinting his eyes against the glaring sunlight. This was one man he was not expecting would search him out, much less in the middle of the day while he was rushing to get home as fast as he physically could without having to take to the rooftops. “Is there something I can help you with?”
“Ah. I’m sorry if this is rather abrupt but,” Kakashi reaches in and pulls out a sheaf of creased paper from his flak vest, wrinkled from being folded and refolded repeatedly. “I have something for you.”

Summary
After years of working as a child and family social worker, Iruka Umino decided he was ready to start a family of his own, and his college sweetheart turned husband Mizuki Touji was cautiously along for the ride. When an emergency case came across his desk one day, Iruka knew he'd met his son. Before he knows it, Iruka has a rambunctious 7 year old on his hands. Parenthood isn't easy, neither is his marriage, but he always manages to maintain his carefully constructed life. But when Naruto starts acting out at school and at home, Mizuki's already thinning patience runs out and things take a turn for the worst. Caught between an angry spouse and a distressed child, Iruka is at a loss for what to do until he stumbles across a newspaper ad for karate classes. He thinks he's found the perfect solution; an outlet for Naruto and a reprieve from the trouble at home.
