Maya has to be struggling. She gets no support from anyone other than Ben since Diane in Episode 8. She is trying to undo so much of what she learned to survive 20 years of abuse, and that means her thoughts are going to be all over the place, especially about Carina because Carina has not been very warm or kind since she walked out of the hospital.
Carina has to be struggling as well. She has to question her anger and fear. She has to know that Maya needs support. She has to know that Maya is not the only one who made mistakes.

Summary
Station 19 has a problem with women, specifically one woman, and it is dangerous when media uses its platform to perpetuate stereotypes and problematic depictions of women and mental health issues. This will be a collection of one-shots that will be published in random order when the spirit so moves and the feminist anger strikes. Maya Bishop is smart, she is kind, she is incredibly capable, she is a badass, she is not perfect, and the Station 19 writers have done her a disservice. Maya Bishops deserves better.
