Cuando WeiWuxian murió sucedió algo raro y extraño, volvió al pasado, se encontró siendo perseguido por perros sin saber qué hacer, solo que esta vez decidió un rumbo diferente tomando la dirección contraria hacia un bosque. Así, se alejó de ese pueblo y se adentró a la oscuridad donde decidió que debía morir, ya que el futuro, sin su existencia, será mejor.
El fic es un 'back in time and fix it' con muchas incognitas más que respuestas. Este es un "que hubiera pasado si..." donde WeiWuxian es criado en la Secta QiShanWen no como un discipulo más, sino como el hijo menor de WenRuohan.

Of course this could be easily solved by proceeding with the original marriage alliance, but Jiang Wanyin would not put his sister in that position, and Meng Yao knew that with the Jiang Sect’s downfall, Jin Guangshan no longer wanted his heir tied to them. Thus, putting Meng Yao in the position of propositioned groom.
