Summary
A poem that I wrote a while ago when I was feeling anxious about leaving home to go to uni. Change is scary, but without it we can't grow and develop.

Summary
“When I was a child,” Stede says slowly, faraway and nostalgic. “My mother - she never really spent much time in the kitchen, of course; we had dedicated household staff that handled all the cooking, but there was one thing she used to make herself. She’d melt brown sugar until it bubbled, and it was just on this side of burnt, but not quite? And she’d pour it out and let it harden in these big sheets of transparent, amber-coloured toffee. I used to break off shards and suck it into razor-sharp points; would run around pretending I had a knife, or a prison shank. They made excellent props when playing at being a pirate.”
Stede is sort of lost in the tangent. He’s good at telling stories, even real-life ones, and Ed finds himself getting a bit lost in it, too.
“Your eyes are like that,” says Stede.
“When the sunlight gets them. Like the taste of it. Smoky and sweet,” says Stede.
“Like melty, burnt toffee. They’re so lovely, Ed,” says Stede.
These are the things that Ed collects.
(OR: Ed keeps buried treasure after all. Stede finds his secret stash. Post S2 oneshot with Big Ed feelings as he slowly comes to grips with the fact that he's VERY loved - but we already knew that)

Summary
💔 The Core Premise
Angel Dust comes home late, lightheaded and stumbling after another brutal day at Valentino’s studio. Husk, already closed up at the bar but still lingering—radio low, lights dim—catches him before he collapses. The reason? Val’s been pushing Angel to lose more weight. Husk, furious and worried, takes him to the kitchen. Angel tries to deflect, joke, hide how shaky he is—but Husk cuts through it with a simple offer:
“What do you want to eat? Anything. Just name it.”
Angel doesn’t believe him at first. Husk? Cook? But when Husk pulls out ingredients and starts cooking like someone who’s done this before, the walls begin to come down.

Summary
Husk knows he messed up. Again. Between Charlie's "Redemption Express"—a disastrous, near-lethal attempt to make Angel Dust the next Sir Pentious—and his own knee-jerk, cynical outburst, he drove the porn star back into his shell.
Now, with a bruised wing from a surprise brawl with the Vees and the lingering guilt of throwing Angel under the bus (or, well, the anglic steel-tipped train), Husk is left nursing regret and burnt sugar-flavored booze. The hotel is too quiet, and the silence forces him to confront the messy truth: his relationship with Angel is a painful dance of one step forward, two steps back, constantly reverting to their dysfunctional comfort zone.
OR
A one-shot of Husk and Angel having a heart-to-heart about the events of Hazbin Hotel Season 2 Episode 3 after Season 2 Episode 4.
