I'll start by briefly describing how Li Daikun (who played the role of Xie Wang) and Wang Ruolin (who played the role of Zhao Jing) interpreted their characters since in this analysis, I will rely primarily on their interpretations. In the case of Word of Honor, the opinion of the actors is of particular importance, since the director gave them more freedom of action, and the original book differs significantly from the serial adaptation.
