Summary
Wei Wuxian has only ever seen Hanguang-Jun from a distance, and often in the light of the full moon which reflected off his scales, blurring his figure to any who dared look at it straight on. Many villagers claimed it was then bad luck to do such a thing, but Wei Wuxian had found such logic ridiculous and always opted to stare when the mysterious god drifted high above their tiny village. Even now, in the bright afternoon sun, with Hanguang-Jun descending on him, Wei Wuxian can’t find it in himself to look away.
once upon a time, there was a dragon, a curse, and a sacrifice.

Summary
“Lan Zhan. I’ve just been thinking…the fifteen-month mark is coming up.”
There was a question in Lan Wangji’s eyes.
“Since we got married,” Wei Wuxian clarified. A wistful smile tugged at his lips. “The contract is almost up.”
... ... ...
“I said, why are you always like this?!” The walls were thin but Wei Wuxian knew them to be surprisingly soundproof. Still, he had no doubt that the people outside would be able to hear him at this level, albeit muffled. He made no effort to lower his voice. “Don’t you know I get tired, too?!”
With a wild sweep of his hand, the teacup shattered on the ground, spilling liquid all over the table and floor.

Summary
“Hmph,” Jiang Cheng says, when Wei Wuxian is finally finished. “Here I thought you already took your bows on some dusty mountaintop.”
Wei Wuxian laughs halfheartedly. “It was more of a hill.”
“Whatever its height,” Jiang Cheng says, louder, “why am I expected to attend a wedding for two people who’ve already been wed?”
(Or: two times Jiang Cheng unintentionally saved the Wangxian wedding, and one time he meant it.)
