Summary
He tries not to think too hard on it, but when he's at his lowest, he's certain he isn't built to be adored. It's gotten worse with age, with his baby fat thinning out and his shoulders broadening. The more imposing he's become, the more he's desired, but not in any way that's meaningful. He's tried to seek connection a few times here and there, but what people want from him isn't something he can manage to give.
His stature has precluded him from gentleness, from reverence and care. It's devastating, but unsurprising. He is seen, not known. Observed but never understood. What more could he expect?
