Now, Isn't that something the ghosts of the mounds could easily grant?
But even the dead yearns for someone to understand.

The sharp tang of blood hits his nose, and there’s a build up on the back of his throat - to throw up or just to scream, he doesn’t know and he feels the pull again. Drowning in memories, numbing the pain, and the muffled screams.
“Please. For once, look at me. I’m here, hyung. I’m still here. I’ve always been here. I never left.”
There were five of them on that summer. Always meeting up on the local public park, building wonky sandcastles, taking turns on the swings, playing cops and robbers, and cruising their bikes on the street with dirt on their faces, knees scraped, and wide smiles. That’s how he remembered it.
