The beginning of a brand-new school year arrives, and Scaramouche starts his sophomore year being greeted by some old friends and secrets. One of those secrets being that the fatui program he’s part of is inviting an additional member to join them, but nobody can tell him who it is. Even with the concern of a new person joining his small group, it was truly the least of his worries.
His ex, Dottore, is currently trying to rekindle their romance, His friends Heizou and Kazuha seem to be getting along better without him, and his reputation as a track star may be at risk with the new season coming up. With all this stress going on in his life, how bad could a new member really be?

He called to each of them, one after another, both by given name and title. Each time, he stood still, watching through the drifting cinders for their faces to appear, and listening for their familiar voices asking, “Yes, my lord?”

Summary

At first it starts as a longing for family life that Aki feels he had been cheated out of, though he realizes after speaking to the other boy for the first time it was more than that. Something new for him.
Innocent nights of sneaking around an overprotective sister turns into an emotionally closed off nurse and a boy who feels too tainted to be touched finding acceptance and comfort with one another.
