“That would be incredibly inappropriate.”
“A friend then. Someone you can explain the problem to. You could take-”
“You,” Hannibal interjects.
The words belly-flop into silence. Will’s mouth opens, and then closes, and then opens again.When Franklyn's advances of friendship become too much for even Hannibal to politely ignore, he enlists Will's help.
Written for the Accidental Sex challenge- the prompt was #AccidentalSex14: “Playing a prank on our friends to make them think we’re a couple and now we’re in bed together” sex.

Ongoing. Read to Ch3. Updated to Ch7 as of 5/29/2025. The one where Hannibal here me about Will and immediately decides to shape him into his perfect mate aka a mirror of Hannibal. Now with more possessive stalker tendencies (he puts cameras in Will’s house, Ew).

Will Graham is a trainee working for the FBI and Jack Crawford's last hope for catching the elusive Chesapeake Ripper. While investigating a potential lead on Jack's behalf, Will meets the Ripper face-to-face. But rather than kill him, the Ripper takes him captive, intending to use him to his own advantage.
But as time goes on, it becomes less clear just who has captured who...
Basically, a re-telling of Hannibal in which Will is Miriam Lass, and instead of (I presume??) keeping his victim in a medically induced coma in an undisclosed location, Hannibal falls hopelessly in love with him.

I was hopeful that this would be at least somewhat romantic since there’s the line of “who’s captured who” in the summary, but no, it’s just Hannibal being an asshole, torturing Will by holding him hostage, making him do things he doesn’t want to do for his own entertainment and finding Will’s emotional pain amusing. I would argue he infantilizes Will in this fic. I’m so frustrated that it works out for Hannibal at the end of this! I hate when the dynamic is so screwed in Hannibal’s favor. I was hoping for more equality, but kudos to the author, they said it was a super messed-up captive bonding scenario and they weren’t kidding. It’s well written, but jeez it gives me the heeby-jeeby’s. ****<3

They’ve come a long way from the old days, where Omegas in heat would slaughter anyone who stood between them and their chosen Alpha. Where Omegas would fight each other to the death in order to claim their prize, and some Alphas died of rut exhaustion or from injuries sustained from a too-eager Omega. Now, Omegas temper their heats with stabilizing pills and Alphas have a say in who they breed. But there would have been no stabilizing pills provided to an incarcerated Beta.

An AU where the omegas go feral and alphas are the ones who have to sit back and take it. After Hannibal’s capture, he goes into heat and breaks out of the BSHCI in order to hunt down the alpha he sees as his, Will. It was widely believed that Hannibal was a beta so no one was giving him suppressants in the hospital. Will waits for the inevitable. Softer than I thought it would be. ***<3<3

The scent of death hung around him like a pervasive fog, and he was so exhausted it was an easy mistake to make. Only upon approaching him and speaking to him did Hannibal realize he was a human.
Possibly one of the most beautiful things Hannibal had ever seen, but that's beside the point
