Summary
A few weeks after Amy was nearly hit by a stray bullet during a raid by the Merchants on Brockton General, a horrifying new cape has begun to stalk her. Any gang members or villains that dare to try and bring their criminal activities too close to Panacea are set upon by swarms of insects. She keeps seeing a dark, yellow-lensed mask watching her from the shadows before the figure wearing it disappears in a tide of Bugs.
Meanwhile Taylor is glad to finally get a chance to be a hero, having decided that protecting Brockton Bay's one-of-a-kind healing cape is a much more effective way of saving lives than just running around looking for crimes to stop. Besides, it gives her a chance to payback her new favorite hero, Panacea, for healing her. Now if only she could find a good way to convince the heroes that she's on their side.
Or, after being partially destroyed in preparation for its role in this cycle, the Administrator shard bargains for aid from the Shaper in an attempt to restore at least a little of its lost functionality. The only thing the Shaper asks for in return is for the Administrator to direct its soon-to-be host to prompt the Shaper's own host into providing better data.

Summary
Naruto Uzumaki finally had enough. After how Konoha treated him, why should he fight for its sake? He'd rather leave, and with the help of what's in his gut he does just that.
Hunter-nin, capture squads, assassination attempts, it's all part of life as a missing-nin. Not that Naruto minds. He'll put up with all of it, if that's what it takes to live free.
Really though, after the first few times, you'd think the villages would stop sending kunoichi after the guy with supernatural foxy charms. Luckily for Naruto, no one ever accused the higher-ups of being all that bright.

And it would be nice to get rid of people who kept calling him Naruto and tried to drag him to village that would kill his family in any given chance.
Meanwhile Orochimaru wondered if he should have chosen some other vessel than avenger who rather spent his time chasing after Hoshigaki Kisame's demon brat than trying to become stronger.
