Following Dracula and his castle being sealed into the moon, a man remembers nothing of his past self, wandering aimlessly in Romania. Joachim, who has kept a distant yet watchful eye over the Belmont clan, feels it his duty to keep an eye over the man, seeing as the Alucard boy is nowhere to be found. The past 1,000 years have been lonely for him though; selfish as it is, Joachim can't help but wonder if friendship between him and a Belmont may finally be viable.
