Jayce groans and squishes the heels of his palms into his eyes, dragging them down his face until they distort his features ghoulishly. "I know. I probably should at this point, just… I don't know. I want it to be more special than that?"
"Such a romantic," Viktor deadpans.
Jayce laughs. "Yeah, kinda. Not that it needs to be, like, wedding night sex, I just want—"
"—Somebody who elected to be there without financial incentive."
"Exactly."
"Let me do it," Viktor says, right as Jayce is mid-gulp of his moscow mule. Perfect timing. He half chokes and half laughs, but Viktor is committing to the bit, his eyebrows raised expectantly.
"Oh shit. Like actually, V?"
Jayce has a kink he’s itching to satisfy. His lab partner finally puts him out of his misery.

It’s another curiosity, but one that makes Viktor tingle, makes him anxious and unsure. It probably says something about him, that he is more willing to experiment with Jayce’s response to feminine compliments than with his obviously possessive gaze. One is for Jayce’s enjoyment, for ensuring their sharing of pleasure may continue for some time. The other… Viktor wants too much.
Jayce and Viktor have been sleeping together for a few weeks now and it's absolutely wonderful, if Viktor could just hold in his endless yearning. In his attempts to keep Jayce coming back for more, he starts exploring something he notices during one particular night of passion, and the sweetness of it all ends up revealing much more than he intended. It's a good thing Jayce is something of a professional yearner himself.

“Oh…” Jayce utters, in a curiously breathless tone, but his face is completely blank as he stares intently at his laptop screen. “What… what did you do?”
“Went in the Registry Editor and changed the DependOnService value to RPCCS.” replies Viktor as evenly as he can, knowing that his entire explanation will just sound like absolute gibberish, and his lips twitch imperceptibly when Jayce just blinks at him in silence, at least until his expression flickers into a more pinched look that Viktor doesn’t know how to interpret.
“That’s-” Jayce starts to say, before halting himself abruptly, and all of a sudden his slanted mouth melts placidly into a very dangerous, very charming boyish smile. “I have no idea what that means.”
(Viktor has encountered all sorts of IT issues in his company, but their new salesman's bad luck with his laptop is truly bizarre... and maybe even a bit suspicious.)
