Summary
Lena is struggling to run a vineyard on her own while her out-of-touch fiancé Jack continues to make matters worse. Making her parents happy was one thing, but throwing her life away just to please them was another. Lena eventually hires a foreman, Kara, to help share some of the workload that is cultivating and harvesting grapes. The infatuation sets in almost immediately. How long can Lena deny her feelings? Or will her dreams of producing her own wine come to a sour and inevitable halt? The better question: How much more loneliness would she be risking either way?

Summary
Elsa never let herself think of it as love.
It was a perversion, through and through. Moms care for their daughters. They love them. They do not want to touch their bodies. They do not want a romantic relationship with them. Elsa, however, couldn't look at her daughter normally, not any more. So she swore she'd never break, she'd never thrust her ugly desire at Anna. Anna would feel loved.
At the tender age of 16, Elsa Norwood was kicked out of her house, left to fend for herself and the growing baby inside her. Despite the many obstacles they had to overcome, Elsa felt she was doing a genuinely good job.
Later, Anna, at the tender age of 17, wondered why her mom had been avoiding her for the past two years.- Language:
