His little friendgroup is his biggest priority.But one night, while biking home.. everything changed. For the better or worse, well… it depends on who you ask.
This is a stranger things age swap au! Some things will be changed to match characters and personalities, but the main plot and story will be pretty similar.

Summary
It began as most troubles always did: Dustin Henderson.
Because of that brat, both Steve and Jonathan are literally tossed into the most unwanted and unfortunate adventure of their lives. They are dragged from dimension to dimension, somehow meeting some colourful characters along the way. The more the pair travel, the more Steve just ends up staring adoringly at Jonathan. Jonathan, on the other hand, gets battered and bruised and very bloody confused 'cause why in the world is Steve fucking Harrington becoming the definition of 'heart-eyed'.

since getting will back, johnathan has severely struggled with nightmares of what it could've possible been like for him. he wakes up screaming some nights and barely sleeps.
so of course, when he wakes up crying at nancy's house at a party, steve harrington is the one to see him pretty much lose it.
what johnathan doesn't expect is that steve is actually pretty good at hugs.
(i suck at writing but this ship needs so many more works, so i took it upon myself to take action)
