    As if him being a college dropout earning less than minimum wage wasn't enough, he got kicked out of his apartment.
    Now, he had to figure out a way to survive with what little he had before he got himself murdered in an alleyway.

    Or, he was about to, before he was suddenly given a golden opportunity by some mysterious, old guy with an endless tea supply.

    I guess his luck isn't as terrible as he thought.

    i.e. Kai moves into a shared house with 3 other guys, all of whom are hybrids, and all of whom are incredibly attractive. How exactly was he supposed to behave as a 'responsible' adult when they could have some fun?
