    Slappy's used to being feared, hated. It's something that always gave him a laugh, made him happy. Until he has a chance having something else he wants. And as much as he loves it, having everyone terrified of him when he's trying to be different, is a bit... irritating.
    After all, those idiots should at least know by now that if Slappy really wanted to, he could just make them forget why they hated him to begin with.
    The fact he hasn't done that yet should be proof enough. Right?

    Or Stine lets Slappy out and they come to an agreement. If Slappy can be good he can be let out.
