"So the Six-Eyed Butterfly is actually two demons?" Li Jie asked, making another discovery. His words stirred a wave of irritation in Yuan Wuhuo.
"That's right," said his brother, the Six-Eyed Butterfly.
"And unlike the two of you, we are loving and inseparable brothers," said his past self.
He remembered why he had said those words. Their six eyes, allowing them to pierce through the true nature of all things, saw two brothers who had grown apart and barely looked like brothers at all. Compared to the perfect harmony shared by the Six-Eyed Butterfly, the Yuan brothers did not seem close.
Now those words carried a bitter irony for the present Yuan Wuhuo. His past self, who still knew nothing of the fate awaiting of him, was speaking to his future self, who already knew the pain of loss, about love and inseparability he was about to lose.

Сейчас же это высказывание приобрело для нынешнего демона Юань Ухо оттенок иронии – он, ещё не ведающий о своей планиде, говорил себе же, уже познавшему горечь потери, про любовь и неразлучность, которых ему вскоре предстояло лишиться.
