Summary
Summary: A turian Lieutenant fights for the lives of his platoon. A human General struggles to maintain peace. As they both fight their own battles, each one struggles to surmount colossal objectives. Until they met at last.
Excerpt:
What Victus never accounted for was the possibility of going to war with a newly discovered race. Perhaps, when he was younger, he had held grand thoughts of leading a team against another acid-spitting, fourteen-eyed insect race like the rachni. He would shoot a phantom individual in the head with his imaginary shotgun and step away heroically to avoid the resultant green spray of acidic blood and brain matter while his platoon cheered.Of course, as he aged, such fantasies of resplendent heroism died long before he landed on Shanxi. Fortunate, because their enemies were not six-eyed insectoids that spewed acid and shat webbing. They were bipedal like most races, with only two forward-facing eyes, asari-like hands, and they bled red when bullets hit them. Sometimes, they even cried like asari.
Human, they called themselves.

Summary
Garrus and Shepard take a swing at some First Contact War roleplay.
Excerpt:
‘Stay inside, stay inside,’ he inwardly chanted. An assortment of thoughts ran through his head, anything to distract from her encroaching fingers-- firing algorithms, the Thanix cannon, Executor Pallin-- there that did it, thank the spirits.Garrus opened his eyes, unsure of when he’d shut them, and found Shepard beaming. It certainly wasn’t the look of some hardened Alliance interrogator, but perhaps at this moment it wasn’t supposed to be.

Summary
Summary: Wake up, go to work, sleep. It wasn't exactly the life C-Sec officer Nellus Tragen wanted but it's the one he's got. Docking bay D-24 might as well be his second home for as much time as he spends there. Of course, finding himself guardian and protector to a teenaged human girl utterly alone in the hell that is the Reaper War has a way of changing things up a bit.
Excerpt: “Stop!” Nellus Tragen shouted from the confines of his bed before rolling over, desperately clinging to the silence as long as he still could, knowing it was just a matter of time before-
His discarded alarm started to beep, the sound steadily progressing in volume until it was buzzing insistently against the wall it had hit.
Same shit, different day... with the ever-so-subtle addition of Reapers, that is.

Summary
Summary: The casualties of war are often unfathomable, but pity not the dead. For it is the living that must carry on with their wounds, tossing and turning in their beds with only ghosts for company. And it certainly doesn't help when sleep is interrupted by insufferable drones.
Prompt: What are they up to post-ME? Are they working on that book together? How is Javik adjusting to peacetime?
Fluff, angst, and/or smut (as long as it's all consensual) are all welcome!Series

Summary
Sometimes good company and a day at the park are all that's required to start healing old wounds.
The loyalty of a good varren never hurts either.Excerpt: Sina bumped her elbow with her snout, garnering her mistress' attention. Cybele ran her talons down the sides of the varren's dorsal spines, smiling as the beast lifted her back into the touch. Her pet was one of the few things that kept her sane, both then and now. She was careful around the newly-healed scars that dotted Sina’s hide, trophies from the husks that tore into her when they found themselves cornered just before the red blast ended the war.
Many of them were sewn shut by her own hand.

Summary
"Fedorian is dead," Garrus had told him. "You're the new Primarch." But Adrien had lived a whole life before those fateful words were said to him.
Excerpt: The Captain unfurled his posture from the table, rising to his full height. Behind his amber eyes, a hundred scenarios played out in his skull, the best components from each of them reconstructing themselves like puzzle pieces to ultimately create a strategy that imbued his second vocals with conviction as he met the officers’ gazes and told them plainly: “Then open the gates.”

Summary
A year without word of her survival has left Garrus restless. After a whole series of events, the game has finally changed and he's tired of waiting. He knows where she is and he'll let nothing stand between him and the woman most call, "Commander." To him, she's just Shepard.
Excerpt:
Garrus checked the clip on each pistol before fastening them both to his hip, one on each side. He then leaned up against the dash so he could secure his Phaeston assault rifle on his back, left of his Widow. As he snapped his grenade belt around his waist, he spared the building's front entrance a dark grimace. He hated fighting in hospitals and as he donned his helmet, he felt like he was going to war in one.Series

Summary
Crawling out of his unmarked, desert grave a young turian must struggle to carve out a new life for himself during the height of the reaper war. With no memory of who he is, he has little choice but to piece together the fragments of his past, not knowing if he'll like the picture that comes together in the end.
Excerpt: “Wait!” He called helplessly from his spot on the floor. “Wait! Come back!" Panic gripped his heart like a vice as he watched his answer-source slip away from him. "I don't know who I am! I don't know who I am!"
His voice fell on deaf ears, swallowed up in a chorus of moans and wails from the room's other occupants. His voice was just another drop in a sea of outcry for both help and answers.

Summary
Adrien Victus saw his people through the war, but with the fall of the Reapers brings new challenges. He's a man mourning all that he's lost, as well as wanting to help his young friend cope with the loss of Commander Shepard. He's a General that wants to restore his people to what they were. Now, he's also a Primarch, expected to participate in the lucrative dance that is politics. This is a story of his struggle to discover who he is at the end of the day and what he'll become after all is said and done.
Excerpt: "Victus returned to his seat, but his gaze remained on the proverbial battlefield. His opponents now sat divided in the shattered remains of their imaginative ramparts. Their alliance broken. Now that he had put into motion the tactical risk of turning the decision over to the Hackett, all that was left to do was sit and watch the outcome as the Admiral got to his feet."
Now with beautiful cover art. :)
