The green haired lad drains his beer and pushes off the wall, putting his cigarette between his lips and moving closer, “What do you want?”
“You going to Samhain?” The long-haired guy seems unphased, all smiles and sparkling eyes, “do you know how to get there?”
God, he’s sexy. Eyes big enough to swim in, soft curly hair. Shit, he looks kind of like Nancy but even more irresistible; leather-clad, full of masculine energy and smelling like smoke and earth.
Steve moves closer to him, draping an arm around his shoulder, pulling him close and pointing at the blur of coloured hair streaming down the street, “Follow the crowd,” Steve says directly into his ear, “Maybe see you there.”
The metalhead gulps and then offers Steve a bright smile, “Um, yeah, thanks.”
Steve watches him walk away, lighting another cigarette and lingering on the edge of the sidewalk until the metalhead is just a smudge.
Robin appears at his elbow, “Steve,” she hands him a box of fries, opening it and eating a handful hungrily, “Why were you flirting with Eddie Munson?”
Steve turns to look at her with wide, panicked eyes, “With who?”or
