Summary
“Evil Eye, is that you?” Jiji whispers frantically as he holds the kozuka knife in his hand. The knife doesn't respond.
An explosion sounds behind him. No time for second guessing. Whatever this thing is, his spiritual energy alone isn’t enough to beat it. They need Evil Eye's endurance.
He draws the knife across the back of his hand, willing the cold blanket of Evil Eye to sink into his bones; the familiar simmering rage to penetrate his flesh and a mantra of violent opinions to spill into his psyche. Instead, it feels like there's a weight on his back.
“You're not Rin,” Mai says snidely as she materialises.

After a run-in with kozuka knife wielders leaves them without their powers, Aira and Jiji find out what it's like to walk a mile with someone else's yokai.

Okarun liked Momo. And Jiji. And maybe that was just another one of his... 'weird quirks' but it sure was making things hard right now.
Momo liked Okarun. And Jiji had always held a special place in her heart. But she'd seen the two of them together, and knew she didn't have a chance.
Jiji had lost his chance with Momo. And after seeing the way she as with Okarun, getting to know Okarun, he was okay with it. Well, he understood, at least.Three dorks going through teenage angst at the idea that their crush likes their other crush and they have no chance. But they all have two hands???
(Each chapter will be the entire story from a different characters point of view - Okarun, then Jiji, then Momo!)

“I hope this is okay,” Goro says, fiddling with the cuffs of the shirt. It's nothing special; it’s white and plain, the sort of button down that every twenty-year-old guy has stuffed in the back of his closet. The light fabric hangs awkwardly on Goro’s slim shoulders—and, for whatever reason, he has it buttoned all the way up to the top.
The shirt doesn't look bad, but it looks like it belongs to another man. Akira takes a moment to swallow those implications lest he choke on them.
It's impossible not to fall in love with Goro Akechi, he thinks again, sheepish.
(Or: Goro borrows a shirt—then a hoodie. Then another shirt. Then... things spiral out of control.)

Summary
For some reason, this question throws Akira. Simply because Joker… looks like him. He’s Akira, if Akira wasn’t so flawed; he’s got the same curly black hair, the same thick glasses (only, Joker must wear contact lenses), the same gap between his front teeth. It seems all too pathetic to describe his ideal self to Akechi - from what Akira has seen so far, Akechi is perceptive, and he’d undeniably catch onto the character that Joker is evidently portraying.
Akira is a writer. When his boss introduces him to comic book artist, Goro Akechi, he doesn't quite know how he's supposed to continue his story now that the whole thing is a two-player endeavour. And, perhaps, writing about his character 'Joker' will give him the confidence to confront the direction that his own life is taking.
