Elliott receives an unlabeled package one day - a cassette player, an ancient piece of tech, a museum piece. Why someone would send it to him, he doesn't know, but when a friend helps him crack the barely-hidden code they find it leads to the location where his brothers' ship went down. It's been 16 years. There's no way he's going to find anything if professionals and well trained private investigators couldn't. But - he has to go. He has to know. Someone sent it to him for a reason. Maybe it's a good reason, yeah?
Tae-Joon is still recovering from his assault by Revenant, and recovering alone. But even with his paranoia renewed and his discomfort around others reignited, he's always going to have a soft spot for that idiot bartender he calls a friend. So when Elliott shows up and shows him the strange message he was sent, Tae-Joon doesn't hesitate to offer his help translating it, nor heading out with him to chase this lead. After all, it should offer a welcome little reprieve from the constant horror show that is his life, yeah?
