At 11, Remus Lupin's parents die. By 16, Remus is immersed in petty lower-class crime and has no future, until he gets a scholarship to a reputable boarding school and his life begins to have two totally opposite sides. The universe holds a permanent grudge against him, and likes to make his life as shitty as possible. Luckily, Remus finds the prettiest star to look at when things get hard, because they DO get hard, and the star begins to look for him too.
