Zhang Mei was sitting at the back of the lecture hall, her eyelids heavy and threatening to close, only being jolted awake by the many sighs around her. She shifted awkwardly in her seat, attempting to shake off the former drowsiness and hoping no one witnessed how she jumped awake. Had this been any other class, sleep would’ve taken her already, but unfortunately, this professor was known for being strict and unforgiving–something her older friends had made sure to constantly remind her of since even before she had become a freshman.
