There is something to be appreciated in the simpler things in life. Things that don't need to be complicated. Things that can just be. That's what this was supposed to be. Dabi just wanted to have fun. To just be. He wasn't supposed to feel shit. When he noticed what was happening it was too late. He couldn't do what needed to be done. So he's gonna make that be her problem, not his.
All she was trying to do was be a normal high schooler. Go out with friends and have fun. Yet, for some reason, things could never be that simple. Now, she's gone and drawn the attention of a pyromaniac who keeps her walking on eggshells.
