Summary
Corbeau's right hand was cradled gently in Philippe's, and his left rested on his lover's shoulder as he laid his head on Philippe's chest. Philippe curled himself around his partner, palm between Corbeau's shoulder blades, fingers spanning Corbeau's back like he could hold him close and keep him safe with his body alone. His chin rested on Corbeau's shoulder, his eyes closed in absolute contentment.
Paxton could barely breathe with the privilege of seeing them like this.

Moments like this were what made Philippe swear— only to himself, of course —that Corbeau mastered the art of dropping bombshells in the most inconvenient times. Case in point: the Rust Syndicate’s top brass were currently pressed flush against each other, and one challenge from his boss’ lips was all it took to jolt the right-hand man in surprise. A second of hesitation cost them greatly, when Philippe’s umbrella swayed under his grip, letting the light drizzle they worked so hard to avoid wet one half of his and Corbeau’s shoulders.
Or: after the mystery behind Hyperspace Lumiose was solved, the ever-ambitious Corbeau hatched his riskiest plan yet— make a whole new team composed of Pokémon found in that realm. It was up to Philippe to dive deep to find his boss' reasoning, and to make sure that dream became a reality.
