Avid knows that Scott is a vampire, of course he knows. Scott wasn’t even trying to hide it. But everyone in town was getting tired of Avid repeatedly accusing Scott of being a vampire. So instead, he chose to keep an eye on the blue-haired man, which led to him trying to walk backward toward his house.
But what Avid didn’t know was how he had somehow ended up lying naked in a big fancy bed, with an even more obvious vampire, and equally naked, Scott. And why was everyone and everything so different from how he remembered them.
Or in other words:
Early episodes Avid (when the vampires are still living in the town) somehow ends up in the (alternate) future.

Summary
It was exceedingly annoying having to hunt for his own food. He missed having people to do this for him a great deal.
He was about to pounce on a wandering sheep when he suddenly heard the fearful squawk of a chicken being cut off.
Was one of the other vampires nearby? He stalked through the forest, coming upon a small clearing. In the very middle was Avid, fangs sunk into the neck of the chicken he had heard. The ravenette's head shot up as he sensed the elder vampire.
It was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen, blood staining that pretty mouth, the man's eyes having become the softest shade of ruby.
He could smell the other vampire now, a gentle, sweet scent mingling with the tang of blood.
He slowly approached the frozen fledgling, not wishing to spook him off. The ravenette gasped softly as Scott took his chin in his hand.
"Well aren't you the prettiest little thing?" He croons, "cute little doe," gazing affectionately into the Avid's eyes.

"Hello, darling," Scott purred, pressing loving kisses along Avid's neck and jaw. He purred back in response, curling his arms around the older vampire's neck. "Something wrong?" He asked when the younger vampire didn't respond.
"I don't know," he muttered, burying his face against Scott's neck to be closer to his soothing scent.
Scott hummed, rubbing his back comfortingly. "You smell different lately, love, stronger, sweeter, almost like..." He paused suddenly, taking in a sharp breath, "Oh," the elder vampire uttered softly.
Avid sat up, worry rippling through him, "Scott?" He called nervously.
A loud purr erupted from Scott's chest, shocking the younger vampire. Those bright red eyes lock onto his with an overwhelming affection. "Precious doe," he croons, wrapping his arms around the fledgling, cuddling him to his chest and planting kisses on the crown of the doe's head.
Clearly, whatever revelation Scott had wasn't a bad thing if he was reacting like this, the elder vampire's affection calming his nerves.
