Summary
Sunny moved out of Faraway without connecting back with any of his friends. Around two years later, he begins to hallucinate again.
Sunny is actually doing a lot better now, and thanks to his mom he has a therapist and is finishing high school online. Then, Sunny’s mom surprises him with a trip to Faraway, the place where both of them were tattered and broken.
Once Sunny returns to Faraway, near-hourly hallucinations turn into him becoming fully immersed in his dream world again, unaware of the things happening outside of his head. A certain someone is taking over while he’s dreaming, and he has no memories of what happened when he was gone.
That’s a problem. With Sunny getting pulled back into the past, all he wants is Mari. He hasn’t remembered the truth yet, and believes she’s at college, and will be coming back soon. How wrong he is. Constant reminders of his times with his friends when he was young begin triggering panic attacks, where he begs for Mari until getting sucked back into Headspace.
Sunny is sharing his body with someone who once wanted him dead. Now this someone is tired of their job, and is trying to make Sunny remember the things they helped him forget.

He looks away for a moment and hears the unmistakable click of the gun being cocked and his grin widens. Here it is. He knew he'd piss her off enough eventually. Except... when he looks at her... she's still facing away. His head tilts again in that cartoonish way it always does. "What now, PomPom? Having third thoughts about-"
He's cut off by her movement. The clear press of the barrel to her own temple. This wasn't how this was supposed to go. "What... what are you doing?" His voice dropped lower in his surprise.

Summary
It was certainly a lapse of judgement on her part, but Pomni figured she could be forgiven for feeding into Jax’s shallow, deflective melodrama just this once.
“I’d move on”
And yeah, sure, she wasn’t self-important enough to consider her comparatively short stay in the circus and even shorter stint as Jax’s so-called ‘partner in chaos’ to be in the same ballpark of whatever friendship Ragatha had unintentionally alluded to, but Pomni had still stupidly allowed herself to think Jax would respond to her obvious prod with anything other than a strike aimed to sting.
“And probably forget about you.”

Summary
This starts at episode 6, the awards show. Except in this work, Caine reads the votes and glitches out. This ejects all the players and Caine from the circus back to the real world. Everyone who is ejected ends up right where they were before all of it happened. Except everything is different, it’s been years, they don’t know anyone, their original identities were declared dead years ago and they don’t entirely remember who they were before the circus. They must find eachother, because no one else knows what they went through. Maybe if they can find eachother, they can all heal and find their place in the world once more.
This will mainly focus on Jax and Pomni and main characters but include the rest of the cast.
