“You wouldn’t be trusting me,” he said, lips curling faintly. “You’d be controlling me. Owning me. Don’t tell me that’s not appealing to you. We’re both beyond petty denials.”
She studied him—every inch of the strained muscles, the fevered eyes, the chains dug into brick. He was desperate, despite all the bravado. That much was obvious. She could smell the tang of his fear hanging in the air like pheromones. He truly was at his last grasp of sanity; a Hyde without a master was only madness driven inwards, layers upon layers of insanity folding in upon itself like a slow-acting implosion. He had no chance at ever being normal, but that didn’t mean she had to leash the beast instead of slay it.
“Say it,” Wednesday declared.
Tyler’s head tilted. “Why?”
“Because I want to hear if you mean it.”
The corner of his mouth twitched. “You want obedience, or proof?”
“Both.”

❤️❤️ I honestly thought I would dislike this one within the first few chapters, just because I was hesitant on how fast/slow the burn would be but I ended up really enjoying it.
Spoilers:
I’m glad Tyler was able to be released and be free. Which we would get a sequel of their life at nevermore together.
Wednesdays dad getting his powers back made me cry so much I loved it.
Don’t particularly like how Ophelia and Isaac are still alive but if they don’t attack then that’s fine -

Love ❤️ I was so nervous about Thornhill getting ahold of Tyler like she did in canon but he was safer than normal. I enjoyed the sheriffs involvement in the story. Tyler going with Wednesday during the holidays was amazing. Wish we got more of an epilogue.

Summary
Wednesday has never seen the appeal of sex. But with her peers constantly prattling on about their crushes and boyfriends and girlfriends and the activities they supposedly get up to, she is becoming more and more conscious of the fact that her stance is based on theoretical knowledge only. Absolutely loved this. 10/10 great smut, characters in character, the Hyde plot was heartbreaking but I loved it as well.

Summary
The Targaryens have been closer to gods than men, none would deny this. With the naming of a female heir, it appears as though the House of the Dragon is divided amongst itself.
All that was required to thwart the Dance as we know it was a daughter born of Old Valyria, of salt and blood, fire and darkness.
Laenor just wished the Targaryens weren't as dysfunctional as they were. The blood of the dragon runs thick, Daemon had told him once, apparently it makes them thick.
In which the Gods of Valyria (and me) say no to the Dance and as a result we are served with Targaryen realness and dysfunction.
