Summary
Started back during the "Wilderness Weeks" as they were known by all Polin fans back in August 2023, this fic was inspired by the very little information we knew about the upcoming season.
This may seem vastly outdated now as we have more information at hand, but this was my attempt at guessing the direction of Season 3 when we knew almost nothing about it.

The warehouse job may have been fairly brainless work, but it was enough money for Nick to afford his independence. The truth was, he felt completely fine. And if people assumed him to be an alpha, well, he didn’t like it, but at least no one was questioning him.
Nick would be lying if he said he wasn’t curious about the new bloke. He told himself that he was just impressed by the smaller alpha’s strength, despite his lean physique. Nick believed he was being subtle with his looks, but apparently, not quite subtle enough.

Charlie Spring never thought he would be performing on such a large stage, even though he's one of the fastest sprinters Team Great Britain has to offer. Now that he's made it to Paris, though, he's determined to prove to the world (and himself) that he deserves to be competing among the best of the best.
He just can't let himself be distracted by the young star of his nation's rugby team, who befriends him after their paths cross on Charlie's first evening in the Olympic Village (and who he totally does not have a crush on).

Charlie Spring is training for the Edinburgh marathon to raise money for his old inpatient unit when he comes across a handsome personal trainer in the form of Nick Nelson. When Nick agrees to help Charlie with his conditioning training, how long will it be before, he offers a little more than PT services.... Not long. The answer is not long.
Much outrageous flirting, some Nick being completely deer in the headlights, and quite a good deal of spice!
"He jogs lightly onward to the next bench down the path, as he does his eye is drawn somewhat to the auburn haired instructor currently, shouting out warmly encouraging words of affirmation to his doting clientele. Who could blame them really. His broad chest strains against the taught dark grey fabric of his vest and as he reaches back behind his head demonstrating the perfect triceps stretch, Charlie has to swallow down a rising tide of impure thoughts at the site of those arms. Summary
Charlie has graduated from the Royal Veterinary College. Now that he’s newly graduated, he’s hoping to gain further experience at a clinic in London. A nice, clean, modern clinic where he would see a variety of small, well behaved pets.
Instead, he finds out he is going to the Yorkshire Dales to assist a regional vet during the lambing season.
Charlie is less than thrilled and is determined to hate it. Wouldn't you know it though-there is a ginger farmer on the local Nelson farm who finds the stubborn, grumpy vet quite intriguing.
