Summary
This is the story of the first generation of Specters of Hades, when they were still heroes. It revolves around the Three Judges of the Underworld and explains why they ultimately became loyal to Hades. The story draws inspiration from Greek mythology, but it is not strictly adherent to it since the myths of Aiacos and Minos falling in love are mere rumormongering.
The original text is written in Chinese and can be found at my works《神话下的谣言》. I can't guarantee that the English version is error-free.Those who are good at Chinese can read the original text.

When Rodolfo spoke his voice was sore and hoarse, an echo of a frigid October morning lost to the past.
“Refusal?”
The word came out sharply, like the time Rodolfo had spent in silence was rather instead used to sharpen his tongue.
“I have answered your question thrice over Captain, yet you still refuse to let me go, what is it you want to hear exactly?”
The Captains steely eyes took on a new resolve as he stared into the confines of Rodolfo’s soul. His question had not elicited the response he wanted.
“I want the truth Rodolfo. Only you know what happened that night.”

Summary
He doesn’t really know when it became such a regular occurrence. One night he’s tired, restless, and unable to sleep, barely nodding to a suggestion Rudy has to help him relax, and then next thing he knows his Sargent Major is knelt between his legs, giving him head beneath his desk.
He passes out embarrassingly quickly, waking up in his bed fresh and alert.
The second time he’s more cognizant, extremely tired, but aware, and when Rudy offers again, he can’t fully blame it on his exhaustion, despite collapsing into heavy sleep once more afterwards.
The third time, he gets into the habit of taking a shower before going to his office, shivering at the soft chuckle his friend gives him when he smells body wash on him.
The fourth and fifth get mixed up in his memory, and by this point he’s lost count. Every time, he’ll wake up embarrassed in his bed - knowing that he was definitely not getting to his room by himself, cleaned up and changed in comfortable clothes.
He feels very taken care of, and doesn’t know how to return the favor without making it weird.

Rodolfo and Alejandro have been sleeping around for years. It's meant to be no strings attached but Rodolfo wants more, though he's not willing to admit this to Alejandro. Alejandro wants Rodolfo to open up to him, Rodolfo fears rejection from confessing his feelings. On top of all this, the cartel problem is growing, day by day. They're being slowly cut off from the rest of Mexico. Everyone involved is being faced with a problem that may, one day, be no longer able to be fixed.
Things need to change.
