Summary
The room itself was warm and, notably, uncomfortably silent—a silence he hadn’t experienced since it was just him and Kurogiri in the bar. Light bled through thin curtains, casting a soft, warm glow over the room. It definitely wasn’t his room. His room never had a window, for one.
Various posters ranging from obscure video games to bands practically covered the walls from head to toe. But what really caught his attention and simultaneously nearly caused his heart to stop was the large Eraserhead poster hanging above a messy desk—a desk eerily similar to the one he used to have at the bar.
Tomura’s mind could barely comprehend the poster before a sudden breeze caused him to shiver. His arm wrapped around himself, and his brain lagged the moment his fingers made contact with skin. He looked down with a frown.
What was it with him always ending up shirtless?

The cafe itself was so normal, a calm atmosphere that smelled of baked goods and fresh coffee. It wasn’t something Shadow would’ve expected from an old henchman of Ivo Robotnik. Stone picked up a little tray of muffins and other sweets before leading them both to a secluded booth in the corner of the building, one shielded from the open windows at the front.
It took a bit of coaxing on Stone’s part to get Shadow to actually take a bite of the sweets.
“So,” Stone started, his fingers rapping against the table. “You’re alive.”
“Unfortunately.”
