Summary
“Looking for anyone?”
Simon relaxes at the familiar voice. “No, not really. Just hanging out, you know? Chilling. Waiting for better days.”
A golden-haired boy approaches him, ducking under a metal bar and coming to stand next to Simon. “That sounds believable.”
or, the high school au where Clary and Simon are best friends (obviously), and Simon has been acting really weird lately. But Jace Lightwood, quarterback and resident heartthrob, definitely doesn't have anything to do with it. At all.

The man's expression darkened. "Listen here, you little shit. I'm thirsty and I want a coffee. I won't wear your shitty mask."

Summary
“Jungkook is angry that he couldn’t control himself. He feels like he took advantage of you.” The way Jimin frowns makes Yoongi’s chest ache. “He thinks you hate him.”
“He didn't, I don’t hate him,” Yoongi blurts. “It wasn’t his fault.”
“We know, hyung,” Hoseok says carefully. “And Jungkook knows that. But it doesn’t matter.” He glances at Jimin before turning back to Yoongi. “He almost bit you.”
A shiver travels down Yoongi’s spine and he swallows hard. “You mean like -”
“Yes.” Hoseok doesn't break eye contact. “A mating bite.”
-OR-
When Yoongi’s suppressants fail unexpectedly, he goes into preheat at a group game night. Jungkook is so affected by Yoongi’s scent he nearly bites him before they’re pulled apart. This isn’t exactly how Yoongi wanted to find out his friend has a crush on him, especially when he’s never thought of Jungkook that way. But when the daze of his heat clears, Jungkook seems to be everywhere Yoongi is, with gifts and smiles and his sweet scent. And maybe Yoongi likes that more than he expected.

Summary
"Can you teach me?" His voice is smaller than he would like, timid almost but he can't help it. He remembers the stories of bandits, how they prey on weakness in an instant. Despite his grandmother's shrieked warnings blaring in his mind like alarm bells, he doesn't feel that from the man standing before him.
"Teach you what, sweetheart?" Alex drawls in that honeyed tone only used when they're alone, raising his flask to his lips and taking a long swig.
"How to fuck?"
Alex's resounding splutter echoes throughout the canyon, making an owl screech and fly away from its perch while Henry can only stare at the sharp line of his jaw.
Henry Fox has resolved himself to live a quiet life, forever firmly held under his grandmother's thumb, never able to spread his wings and flourish; and he is fine with this.
Yet, when their home is ransacked by bandits he finds himself at the forefront of the massacre, faced with whiskey-coloured eyes and a smooth timbre, warming him from the inside out when he has always felt like ice. So, of course, he does the only logical thing a human can do in this situation.
He offers himself up for ransom.

Summary
“I’ll come join you after I’ve taken care of Alexander.”
Henry raises an eyebrow. “Alexander? Did I miss something last night?”
Pez chuckles. “Honey, Alexander Claremont-Diaz is my college son, freshly imported from the States.”
“God, I’m glad I didn’t sign up to be a college parent—I can already imagine the absolute delight someone with a last name like that will be,” Henry comments as he takes another sip from the bottle next to him.
“Ah, Mr Fox-Mountchristen,” Pez enunciates jokingly and Henry mumbles a “touché” from the bed, “I’ve got a good feeling about this Alexander, you just wait and see.”
----
Henry is a second-year student at Cambridge University and pretty content with his life. That is until Alex stumbles into his college.

Summary
Alex freezes, his breath catching in his throat as their eyes lock. Seconds pass. Alex doesn’t know if he’s supposed to smile or avert his gaze. Eight years stretch between them like an uncharted sea, and this version of Henry—this older, polished, unreadable Henry—is a stranger.
Then Henry smiles. The corners of his mouth tug upward, a little too tight, a little too forced, but it’s a smile nonetheless. “Alex?” He wonders.
And Alex unravels.
Alex and Henry meet after eight years. They are still in love with each other.
