Summary
Snufkin returns to Moominvalley, but some things have changed. Following an accident which took place while he was away, Moomin has become thoughtful and distant. It isn't until Snufkin is about to leave the following year - and is prevented from doing so by a sudden, persistent illness, meaning he must spend winter with Moomin for the first time - that he learns the full story and comes to understand how best to help his friend.
In the meantime, Snufkin realizes his own feelings have begun to change, and must decide whether his fear of losing freedom will prevent him from accepting a place in the hearts of those who care for him most.

It was always meant for there to be seven of them on this mission. Thanks to the twin's bond, there's eight. Taako didn't care how many people were around though, the only thing that mattered what that he didn't lose his sister. Thanks to the way they were rebuilt every year, he'd never have to worry about losing her again. That was all that mattered.
Or at least, it was all that mattered at first.
Taako wasn't sure when he started caring so much about the others, but he guessed it was inevitable. You don't go decades dying alongside the same people over and over again without a bond being formed. You can't spend a hundred years of little moments with people without those starting to mean something.
You can't just fall in love and have all of that amount to nothing in the blink of an eye.

There was no in-between, no middle ground, no comfortable small distance at which they could sit without pushing apart or snapping together.
Snufkin was a lot like that, he found.

Chuuya's only trying to find someone or a few someones appropriating the Port Mafia's name, but since there's no such thing coincidence, Fukuzawa and Mori have them cooperate with each other and they uncover something much bigger than a simple missing person and impersonator.

Summary

It's too bad that the real villains didn't take it well that he's not joining their side. But now they've framed it so he's a mass murderer, making all the other magicked humans like him look bad. Hunted and ever the loner, Bakugou meets Kirishima, a dragon who's also alone and outcast, who vows to protect him until they can either clear his name, or get far enough away that it doesn't matter.
Not that Bakugou needs him. Bakugou Katsuki doesn't need anyone, especially not some broken dragon who can't even fly.

When he gets to know the truth about the dragons origin and decides to team up with it his life drastically changes.---
I highly recommend reading the rewrite instead, but if you want to read this i guess I can't stop you.
