“But… there’s one thing, though.” Luke bit his lip. “Din, I... I think there’s something I ought to tell you first. It might change your mind.”
Din’s throat tightened, suddenly, with something like fear. This was it. This was the moment when this incredible, beautiful, shining person was going to tell him, very kindly, that this was going to be a one night sort of arrangement, and that he shouldn’t expect anything more. He took a breath. It was better to get it over with as quickly as possible.
“What is it?” he said, as levelly as he possibly could.
Luke looked down at the table for a few seconds.“I don’t actually have a lot of experience,” he said in one rushed breath.

After Season 2, Luke brings Grogu to see his dad and ends up in a bar with Din.

He turned around and was greeted by a familiar sight he thought he’d never see again. Hank wanted to be mad, wanted to yell at Connor for being so selfish and leaving him alone for months… But the moment Connor took a few steps towards him and smiled (an honest to God smile, for crying out loud) Hank crumbled immediately and pulled the android into a tight hug like he had no intention of letting go.

It makes Connor flinch nervously, but the weight of them, the soft grip feels so good. “Thought you could give that a try. What do you say?”

Summary
Hank Anderson, a recently retired police lieutenant, still hasn't managed to recover from the loss of his son Cole. He's barely managing to be a person, but something compels him to go on a camping trip similar to the ones he used to go on with his son. He doesn't manage to catch any fireflies, but he does manage to rescue an injured bat.
Connor is living in a nightmare. Not only was he turned into a vampire against his will, but he's terrible at it. Stuck in his bat form in the cold, dark woods, he ends up being rescued by a man who's camping... only to have a very awkward first meeting in the morning.
Or
Hank can barely manage to be a human. Connor is the world's worst vampire. But somehow these two broken pieces fit together just right.

Summary
After the car accident that nearly killed them both and left Cole in leg braces, Hank Anderson decided life was too short to not dedicate it to his kid. He left the DPD to open his own business where he could do work he loved that didn’t risk his life while always having time for Cole. Three years later, his handroasted coffeeshop is moderately successful, and he’s looking to hire a pastry chef to add bakery goods onto his menu.
Post-revolution, RK-800 Connor is looking for reliable, simple employment that will take him away from police & investigative work and give him a chance to get his head together as a new deviant. When Captain Fowler nudges him in Hank’s direction, it seems like a logical solution.
Nothing can run smoothly, though, and while Hank manages the stress of being a single father and owning his own business, Connor is balancing his own personal existential crisis with the fact that he doesn’t fit in anywhere and isn’t sure what kind of life he’s going to lead when Hank inevitably gets sick of him and lets him go. It isn’t even close to the ‘best’ of circumstances. But Connor’s starting to think if he isn’t real in Hank’s bakery, he isn’t real at all.

Connor put on his very best I am absolutely innocent here and have never done anything wrong once in my life voice while reaching over Hank's shoulder to place a paper coffee cup on his desk, one small firm hand on the back of Hank's neck while he reached over him.

Law shut the book abruptly.
He was never the type of person to read romantic novels, but he could surely tell that the description he had just read wasn’t a very ally-like one, not even a friends-like. Who wrote this?! Why was it here? Where did this store get it from? And why did someone write about Luffy and Law being in some sort of romantic relationship?
Law didn’t understand anything.
