Tav is eyeing Halsin suspiciously from the opposite end of Art’s bedside, where he’s been keeping watch over the sick man for days. At least, Halsin thinks it’s been days– perhaps three (or maybe four?) at the most. It is difficult to keep track in the Shadowlands.
At any rate, he cannot answer her immediately, which means his answer is insufficient.
“If you have to think about it,” Tav continues, “It’s been too long.”
She has a point.

Achilles will crush himself under the weight of his own guilt, his self loathing. He holds it so tightly that Zagreus doubts that even the Lethe could wash it away. Holds it so close that he's only ever let Zagreus see the edges of it, the deepening cracks he can no longer hide.
There is nothing Zagreus can do but - take him apart. Nicely, gently, but irrevocably. Take him apart and clean out the rot inside and maybe one day, if Achilles is ever able to find his 'somebody', he won't even be able to see the cracks from where Zagreus lovingly pieced him back together.

Summary
After Zagreus' mother moves back home, everything is supposed to be okay. His dad still doesn't care about him, but that's normal enough. He's still trying to break out of the Underworld, but that's allowed now. Achilles and Patroclus still don't love him, but that's—well—he's trying to be okay with that. Really.
It would be easier, though, if they allowed him to keep his space from them, and stopped asking him to sit down with them for a chat, and didn't keep asking after that invitation to their house they extended a while ago that he's been avoiding.
He's trying not to be in their way, so why won't they let him?(aka: Zagreus thinks he's getting in the newly-reunited couple's way but his attempts at avoidance aren't going so well, Achilles feels bad about lying to Zagreus by implying that he wasn't in love with him, Patroclus meddles, But It's Ok Because They All End Up Havin' Sex!

Theseus paces from one end of the room to the other, thinking of Zagreus’s smile the last time he had bested Theseus. He had surprised him with several more dashes than Theseus remembered him being capable of, and the noise that left him is not one he dares to recall.
“Ugh! If I could just—” Theseus mimes squeezing the air with both hands. “You know, Asterius, if I had access to these—these chaotic Boons, I too would have power immeasurable! I would beat him even faster than he has us! I’m certain of it!”
