Summary
Lu Guang, a public figure known for his tightly controlled image and preference for solitude, is unwillingly assigned a personal bodyguard after a string of escalating incidents. The agency insists it’s for his safety and makes the decision without his input.
Cheng Xiaoshi is assigned to the job on short notice. He’s 22, a former basketball player with a laid-back attitude and a love for photography. He doesn’t exactly fit the mold of a typical bodyguard. He talks too much, doesn’t act formal, and has no intention of staying invisible.
At first, Lu Guang wants nothing to do with him. Their relationship is cold, tense, and marked by silence, sarcasm, and awkward car rides. But over time, the forced closeness starts to wear down the walls between them. They begin to understand each other, slowly, unexpectedly and what started as a business arrangement starts to feel like something more personal.
Then people online start to notice.

Summary
Despite being his best friend, roommate, and business partner, there was surprisingly little that Cheng Xiaoshi really knew about Lu Guang.
His roommate rarely shared anything about his past life. In fact, to-date, all that Cheng Xiaoshi had been able to pry out of him was that he was:
1. An only child
2. Allergic to bananasCheng Xiaoshi was still unsure if that second one was an actual allergy, or just one of those things Lu Guang said because he didn’t enjoy the fruit's texture.
He was unsure about a lot of things about Lu Guang. It frustrated him.
The younger boy was decidedly a closed book. Conversations about their childhoods always circled back to Cheng Xiaoshi, so did ones about their parents, friends, and dating lives before they met each other. Cheng Xiaoshi had been able to shrug it off before, but the longer they knew each other the more it felt like Lu Guang was keeping secrets.
He seemed particularly nervous about the topic of romance.
