This name was carved inside every fiber of Obi-wan's being. No matter what they could do, what life could throw at them, they always found their way back to each other.
No matter how hard he tried, Obi-wan wasn't the perfect Jedi most thought he was; he wasn't as brave as they said he was. Especially when his mind yelled three little words that defined who he was.
"I love you"
The Force played a cursed game, but the pawns were the ones accursed. Obi-wan had learnt this lesson the hard way.
No matter how powerful the Jedi were, there were still many things they couldn't do: they couldn't save the cursed, they couldn't bring the dead back and they couldn't fly.

Summary
Anakin Skywalker has fallen to the Dark Side. In doing so he has betrayed everything and everyone he ever loved. A decade on and Obi-Wan still can’t come to terms with the loss of his best friend, former Padawan, and other half. The person he loved above all else betrayed him. He left Obi-Wan alone. Although Obi-Wan should know by now there are always two sides to every story.
(or Anakin is replaced by a clone who becomes Darth Vader while being held prisoner. This is how him and Obi-Wan find each other and themselves again and bring down the Empire while doing it.)

Summary
When Master Windu pulls Anakin aside to tell him that there's going to be a war, the only thing he can think about is Obi-Wan. After Melida/Daan left him with permanent injuries, Obi-Wan was given a service animal in the form of a varactyl named Boga. Both he and Boga are precious to Anakin, and he can't imagine putting them through another war- and he wants to try to convince his Master not to enlist, but Obi-Wan has other ideas.
