Summary
Tanjiro clutched the injured Zenitsu to his chest, His blood was seeping through his yellow haori and onto Tanjiro’s scarred hands. The demons claws had peirced through his stomach and without proper medical attention Zenitsu was sure to bleed out. On pure adrenaline, Tanjiro's legs kept running as if they were their own being, despite the injuries they bore. He was fatigued and wasn't sure he could run much longer but he kept going anyway. It was hard to grasp what had happened just moments ago, how come he had let himself get distracted and let an attack almost kill him just for Zenitsu to take the hit instead. Why hadn’t he just died. He was going to lose another person he cherished because of his stupidity and weakness. how many people would the gods rip out of his grip until they were satisfied? How many more demons had to die before Tanjiro could rest easy?
