Summary
Alina found a way to get her powers back after destroying the Fold, even if its a way she might regret, but she has a promise to keep. She has to keep the Grisha safe, but how can she do it alone?
Alternate Ending to Ruin and Rising, story will continue in alternate universe where Alina rules the Grisha after the death of the Darkling, after taking his bones as an amplifier at his request. This keeps the connection between them alive, leading to plenty of conflicting feelings for Alina who is trying to lead with her friends help, and Mal by her side.
This story can also be taken as a post Shadow and Bone Season 2 alternate universe/fix-it fic as there are a lot of overlapping elements. Fic will be taking from both book and show canon.
