His fears run more rampant as he reunites with the other heroes and has to hide his strange new behavior from his friends. But things keep getting worse and worse for him as the fears grow, and he wonders if he can trust his own sanity.

The kids at Link’s school dreamed about it as if it were a way to fill the loneliness that comes with being seventeen.
Link called it what it really was. A curse. There is no running from a curse.
Wild has spent his whole life with marks telling him he is bound to eight other people. His Soulmates. People he has never met but who will change his life forever, and on his Seventeenth birthday he is set to meet the first of them. Only he's quite happy with who he is by himself, and isn't exactly fond of strangers wanting in on his soul. Maybe he'll runaway from it all, or maybe a chance encounter with a goat expert will sooth his fears.

Everyone has their secrets, and when the Band of Links arrive in the land of Termina secrets have a way of coming out of the grave. As a Clock Town Festival descends into chaos due to an ancient curse, the group must split up to search for a witch to aid the town, but to do so Wild must confront a past he didn't know he had. Bonds of brotherhood and friendship will be tested as the heroes enter a world of witchcraft.

I feel like I’m blindfolded, now, without that sense of the world, but also everything is so bright and loud and close and I hardly know how I’m managing to speak to you when my skin is feeling wind for the first time in a century. It’s…” she trails off, her words failing her, which is infuriating because she’s a scholar, she’s good at words. “It’s a lot,” she finishes awkwardly, for lack of anything better to say.
